The Parliament Buildings are open to visitors year round for free guided tours. Come and discover the history of the Province, the architectural splendour of the Parliament Buildings and learn about British Columbia's parliamentary process.
During the summer season (Victoria Day long-weekend to Labour Day), the Parliament Buildings are open for tours seven days a week from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Monday - Thursday) and from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm (Friday-Sunday). For the rest of the year, tours are offered on weekdays (Monday-Friday) between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. To request tours in different languages or for groups of ten or more, please contact the Legislative Tour Office in advance. Free Walking and Bus Tours
Bus Tours: May 26 - August 22, weekdays at 11 am (excluding July 1, August 4). Bus leaves from Museum Square at Naden (Admirals Road entrance). Length: approximately 1.5 hours. Walking Tours: May 31 to August 23, Saturdays at 11 am (excluding June 28, August 2). Tours begin at the main gate of HMC Dockyard (end of Esquimalt Road). Length: approximately 2 hours. All tours are guided and cover both historical and modern aspects of the West Coast navy base. Picture ID is required for all people over 12 years of age. Under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Cameras are permitted, closed toe, sturdy shoes are required for the walking tour. |
